Using Tags to Deliver Questions

Cognexo uses flexible tags like Division, Department, Region, and Cohort to segment users for delivering questions via a scheduler. Tags target groups, while Target Users specify individuals when groups are unclear. Combined targeting sends questions to both tagged groups and target users, while exclusive targeting sends only to target users.

Cognexo delivers questions to users via a scheduler using tags to segment the users like Divisions, Departments, Region, Country, Cohort, and Team, these are some of the ways we can segment users to deliver questions however Cognexo Tags are flexible and will grow your organisation.

Tags vs. Target Users

Tags are used when specific groups, like "New Starter Cohort A," should receive questions. Target Users are used when individuals need specific questions, but grouping criteria are unclear.

Using Target Users

  • Combined Targeting: When Division and Department are set to *, along with specified target users, questions are delivered to all in those divisions and departments, as well as the target users.
  • Exclusive Targeting: Setting Division and Department to --None-- ensures questions are delivered only to specified target users.
