The Topic Performance dashboard gives you a complete view of how your topics are performing across your organisation. You can analyse accuracy rates, delivery volumes, and performance trends by topic, department, division, or any tag used in your system.
How to Access Topic Performance
Log in to Cognexo.
From the top navigation bar, select Knowledge.
Click Knowledge Topics.
You’ll see three tabs across the top of the page:
Knowledge
Questions Delivered
Topic Performance
Select the Topic Performance tab.
This screen displays performance data for all topics currently delivering to users within your organisation.
Filtering Topics
To narrow your view to the topics you care about:
Click the Filter button on the right-hand side.
Choose the topics you want to focus on — for example:
All UK topics
All Global topics
Any combination of topics you want
Click Apply to filter your view.
Your results will update to show only the topics you selected.
Grouping Your Data
Use the Group By filter (next to the Filter button) to organise your results.
You can group data by any tag in the system set up as a group by tag, this is usually:
Division
Department
Line Manager
Once selected, the top of the table will display your chosen grouping (e.g., Divisions across the top), while each row will represent an individual topic.
Understanding the Metrics
Each row in your Topic Performance table shows:
% Correct – The average percentage of correct answers for the selected time period.
Delivered – How many times the topic’s questions were delivered.
Correct / Incorrect Answers – Counts of right and wrong answers.
RAG Rating – Visual performance indicator:
🟢 Green = 75–100% correct
🟠 Amber = 25–75% correct
🔴 Red = below 25% correct
💡 Tip: Adjust the date filter to view averages for a specific period (e.g., the last 3 months).
Refining Columns
If you only want to see specific columns (e.g., certain Divisions or Line Managers):
Click Filter Columns.
Select or deselect the items you want to show or hide.
Click Apply to update the table.
This provides an even more focused view of the topics and performance areas that matter most.
Highlighting Performance Trends
You can quickly identify high and low performers using the Focus On filter:
Lowest Performance – Brings the lowest-performing topics to the top.
Highest Performance – Brings the best-performing topics to the top.
Exporting Your Data
To download and analyse your topic data externally:
Click Export Data.
Your data will be exported to Excel (CSV) format.
This is ideal for deeper analysis, sharing with stakeholders, or tracking improvements over time.
