How do I change the question limits for a part-time user?

To change the question limits for a part-time user, follow these steps:

  • Click the People tab on the top navigation bar.
  • Select the user you'd like to update.
  • Navigate to the User Management tab.

Adjusting Available Days:

  • On the right-hand side, locate the Learner Question Settings section.
  • Review the Available for Questions days list and toggle off any days the user is not available. For example, if the user only works Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, toggle off Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Changing Daily Questions Limits:

  • Click the Override Company Default button and enter the new number of daily questions the part-time user should receive.

Adjusting Weekly Limits:

  • If you want a part-time user to contribute equally to the leaderboards as a full-time user, you can adjust their weekly question limit.
  • Example: If full-time users receive 2 questions per day (10 questions per week), adjust the part-time user’s weekly limit to 10 questions.
    • The part-time user working 3 days a week will now receive a total of 10 questions, which could be distributed as 4 questions on Monday, 4 on Tuesday, and 2 on Wednesday.

This setup ensures that part-time users have an equal opportunity to contribute to the overall organisation competency and topic leaderboards, despite working fewer days than full-time users.
